It has almost been a year since one of our most successful projects – Polish Flag at Wembley which occurred on 15th of October 2013. Then, Hurricane of Hearts rolled a gigantic red and white chequered flag over the heads of fans at the Polish-English football match. The Flag was very special as it not only represented support for our footballers – it was also a symbol of friendship between both competing teams. On its surface, the flag had an emblem of Polish airmen who defended London in the Battle of Britain, during the Second World War.
Now it is a time to unfold our flag again, and once again, this will happen in a very spectacular manner. Jurek Owsiak, leader of the Great Orchestra of Christmas Charity, has invited us to open one of the biggest Rock Festivals in the world – Woodstock Festival in Poland. We cannot wait to see our majestic flag waving happily under the Polish sky, raised by thousands of hands.
This big entrance is not the only attraction that Hurricane of Hearts has prepared for the Festival. One can also find us at the Academy of the Finest Arts hill, in our tent, decorated in English style. We are going to talk about life in London, the joys and difficulties of emigration, and fantastic projects successfully completed in the British capital.
We are also once again joining forces with the Fan Club My Riot. This wonderful friendship began two years ago at the 20th Finale of the Great Orchestra of Christmas Charity, and it continues throughout the Woodstock festivals and the GOCC finales in London. We are creating a HoH – My Riot village, where you can join us for a chat, and soak in some of our refreshing company 😉
The line-up for the 20th Woodstock Festival in Poland seems to be very interesting this year. It looks like our journalists are going to have very busy and productive time. Their endeavours will soon available on our You Tube channel to view.
